New business offers home-selling packages Homes By Owner Network, Inc. opened an office in Hudson in July and offers home sellers different flat fee services packages depending on the level of assistance they desire. The basic "Sell it Yourself" package includes  a home-selling guide, a yard sign and brochure box, three directional "for sale" or "open house" signs, a listing on www.homesbyownernetwork.com, a voicemail showcase and messaging system, 25 color brochures, mortgage information sheets on the home, disclosure forms, discount newspaper advertising and real estate guidance from a licensed agent. According to owner Lisa Conway. sellers can upgrade to the "Increased Exposure" package and have their home advertised on the Multiple Listing Service.  "Selling you home is all about exposure," said Conway.  "Not only does the MLS provide advertising to thousands of agents, it gets the home on top real estate Web sites such as www.realtor.com."  Generally, this exposure will reduce the amount of time to sell the house.  it does however, require paying a commission to a real estate agent should they find you a buyer that purchases your home. "Many home sellers fear the paperwork involved in selling the home," Conway said.  "With the "Start to Finish" package, we offer full brokerage services in drafting the real estate contracts and coordinating closing services.  May sellers are glad to have a real estate professional assist with this part of the sale."
