Gilbert  /  Overview and Homes

Once a sleepy western town, Gilbert is now the fastest growing city in the United States. With a population of 165,000, Gilbert offers a wide variety of housing choices. Gilbert is located in the far southeast corner of the Valley, south of Mesa and east of Chandler.

Downtown Gilbert still has an Old West flavor to it, but high-tech plays a prominent role in Gilbert's future. Gilbert is in the south-center of the East Valley, which consists of the cities of Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, and Gilbert, and small towns like Queen Creek and Ocotillo. So Gilbert has the best of both worlds. It is a beautiful, quiet, family-friendly residential community, but offers easy access to the region's Job Growth associated with high-tech and health care (Intel, Microchip, Boeing, Banner Health, and many start-ups spun out from Arizona State University). And Gilbert is just a short drive away from shopping (Chandler Fashion Center), gambling (Gila River Casino), golf, and other recreational activities.

Developments in Gilbert include El Dorado Lakes, Playa Del Rey, and The Islands.
