Chandler is a relaxed residential community located in the southeast part of the Valley of the Sun. Established nearly 100 years ago, Chandler has grown from a tiny western outpost to a city of 240,000. These days, Chandler is one of the most desirable cities in the Valley.

What makes people love Chandler?

History: Historic Downtown Chandler retains much of its "Old West" charm. Spend a few hours wandering around Old Towne Market Square, visiting the unique shops and sampling some excellent food. Or walk over to the San Marcos Resort (now the San Marcos Hotel and Conference Center), which was established in 1913 as the First Golf Resort in the state of Arizona. 

Schools: The Chandler Unified School District is one of the highest rated in the Phoenix Metroplex.

Jobs: Chandler has many opportunities in retail, construction, manufacturing, and service industries. And Chandler is a major center for the high-tech electronics industry. High-tech companies in Chandler include Intel, Microchip Technology, Rogers Corporation, and many start-up companies.

Shopping: If Scottsdale is the high-end "Fashion" center for the northern half of the Phoenix Metroplex, then Chandler is rapidly establishing itself as the high-end "Fashion" center for the southern half. The last few years have seen the development of the Chandler Pavilions and the Chandler Fashion Center, which has 1.3 Million square feet of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment (and is anchored by Nordstrom's).

Golf: Bear Creek, Lone Tree, and the San Marcos Resort are just a few of the excellent courses available right in Chandler.

Chandler offers a wide variety of Housing Choices. One great example is Ocotillo Lakes, which offers a great combination of affordable housing, lakeside living (and all the recreation opportunities that go with it), and championship golf (it's a Troon Golf property). The Springs is another popular development in Chandler.

Or perhaps you're looking for urban living. If so, Downtown Chandler offers that, too. The Villas at San Marcos Commons will offer 74 townhomes in a residential / office / commercial mixed-use development. Or check out 123 Washington, which is also downtown and features 54 townhome units.
