Licensed Realtor in Arizona Robert A. Cohen was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in the Boston area, where he graduated from Harvard University in 1982. After spending two years in Madison Wisconsin, he returned to Boston where he attended the Boston University School of Law, passed the Massachusetts Bar, and began to practice law on the “front lines” as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Boston.
After several years of conducting trials, Robert A. Cohen expressed an interest in Environmental and Land Use law. He was named General Counsel to the City of Boston Zoning Board of Appeals in 1994 and formed and acted as lead litigator for the Boston Environmental Strike team in 1996.
In 1999 Robert A. Cohen was appointed Director of Plans and Zoning for the City of Boston and Assistant Commissioner of the Inspectional Department where he remained for three years until moving to Arizona. In Arizona Rob passed the Bar in the summer of 2002 doing municipal contract work in the Phoenix area. In 2003 Robert A. Cohen received his Arizona Real Estate License and has worked with Keller Williams Arizona Realty since that time.

The current focus of Rob’s life, aside from his love of real estate, is his wife Cindy and their two sons, James Wesley (9) and Matthew William (7) Rob enjoys travel, writing (he has published articles in several legal journals), golf and history. Rob made the move to Arizona so that his parents, who reside at the Boulders, would have the opportunity to watch their grandchildren thrive in the Arizona sunshine.
Rob has extensive experience in complex negotiation, land use, zoning and building code issues. He has spent his life in public service and working to improve people’s quality of life, and is eager to work with you to help you meet your goals.
