Professional History

I've been a full time Realtor since 1989. I love this business and feel it was my fate to end up here.  I got involved in real estate at a young age because my father was a builder and my grandfather was in the business as well.

I started working first in new construction for my dad's company and then expanded into existing sales as well. Raised and currently living in the western Minneapolis suburbs, I know the suburban Minneapolis real estate market extremely well and know the St Paul suburban area from officing many years in White Bear Lake.

A firm believer in continuing education, I attend many REALTOR events, conventions and seminars to keep up with current trends and important news in the industry.  My philosophy about the importance of continuing education and learning the most I can about the real estate industry has led me to earning several designations and memberships including the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and the GRI (Graduate of the Realtors Institute).

Of the designations I have earned, I am most proud of the Certified Residential Specialist, or CRS, designation. Less than 4% of all REALTORS in the US can call themselves a Certified Residential Specialist. That's because just one in 20 has the extensive experience, the unique commitment and the hours of advanced training necessary to call themselves a Certified Residential Specialist.

Memberships include the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors, Minnesota Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, The Real Estate Buyer's Council and the Council of Residential Specialists. I am a seasoned member of the Minnesota Association of REALTORS Professional Standards Committee and also serve on the Foundation Committee for the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS. 

I'm also honored to have been voted "Super Real Estate Agent" by Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business in 2007, 2008 & 2009.
