Meet Bill Foster
I have 13+ years of licensed experience in residential real estate, helping buyers and sellers achieve their dreams, and as Office Broker for RE/MAX Advantage Plus in Chanhassen, overseeing over $75 million in sales annually at the office level.
I have a simple, "hands-on" approach to my business. My success in real estate comes largely from understanding that this is a customer service business and each happy client brings home another. The relationship is everything and explains why over 75% of my business is from referrals by past clients and colleagues from around the country and around the world. Technology enhances the client relationship, but does not replace it.
After many years as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, I earned my Real Estate Broker License in 2003, an indication of my commitment to the real estate industry and continuing education. In addition to being a mentor and coach to other real estate professionals nationwide since 2001, I have been an active real estate investor for over 25 years. Prior to launching my formal real estate career, I was a senior corporate executive, helped take a technology company public in 1993 and served on several boards of directors, with first hand international negotiating experience in multiple currencies into the 8 figures.
I am skilled, comfortable and competent in all aspects of the business – operations, marketing, sales and post-sales support. You deserve nothing less when buying or selling a home, often one of the largest investments in your financial portfolio.
My Business is Matching Qualified Home Buyers with Their Perfect Home
This is a serious business. As Office Broker at RE/MAX Advantage Plus, a full service real estate brokerage with literally hundreds of years of experience, I have an experienced team of real estate professionals ready to directly assist both buyers and sellers in the Twin Cities metro area, as well as servicing some out-state locations through our colleague network.
What Does This Experience Do For You?
For starters, in addition to classic real estate services like showing, advertising & marketing activities, contract preparation, negotiations, etc., I am able to provide for closing and title services, home inspections and home loan services - truly a full service real estate brokerage. Over these hundreds of years of combined experience, we have resolved literally thousands of issues that have popped up at the eleventh hour that could have stopped a successful real estate transaction cold - isn't this what you want on your side of the table?
What My Clients are Saying (The Reviews - The Buzz)
"I really appreciate all that you did - you went way beyond my expectations and I'll never forget it!"
"Thanks Bill. You are such a pro!"
"I guess now I totally understand why it is silly not to go through a REALTOR when selling, as well as buying."
"I don't know how to thank you for getting our home sold so quickly. The neighbors can't believe it."
"You have an awesome website! Both [xxxxx] and I have been concerned about the appraised values of the townhouses we're buying and it's so nice that you have a tool like that available. Believe me, I will give you all the referrals in the world! You have been such a great help to me and to [xxxxx]."
"This is so much more house than we ever thought we could afford. Thank you."
I Will Not Hound You. I Will Not Waste Your Time.
Beyond my personal knowledge of the market, I have some great tools to help in the home search. I can tune a search to be quite specific to your personal needs and lifestyle. To do this, I will need to know some information about these things, so when you are ready just contact me and we'll be off to the races. Each e-mail you receive from me will provide you with a way to get back to me. It's that simple!
I Will Tell You The Truth - What A Concept.
If I cannot assist you or the perfect home you describe just can't be found for the price you want, I will tell you that up front. I will then work with you to uncover possible compromises to that perfect home scenario and locate acceptable candidates.
Addressing Special Needs
I have extensive experience in special needs, too, such as life transitions, relocation and distinctive homes. A kid at heart, I especially enjoy working with first-time homebuyers and second-generation clients, i.e. - offspring of past clients.
Relocation
One of the most difficult parts of accepting company relocation is dealing with the move. It is, at times, an overwhelming physical, emotional and logistical challenge. I was a management troubleshooter during a period of my corporate career and the "beneficiary" of 3 corporate relocations. I invite you to take advantage of this "been there - done that" experience and contact me whenever you start down the relocation path.
Final Words
Be careful what you promise your daughter for her 18th birthday. This could be you:

10,000 feet over Hutchinson - whatever was I thinking? My skin isn't really that loose, is it?
